A retrospect: last month at P.A.R.T.S.

During 4 weeks, the students from our Bachelor program Training had a choice to work in smaller groups on repertoire, creation or personal work. All of this was presented mid June during an internal presentation.

In the spotlight this week: personal work initiated by Antoine Dupuy & Ching-Shu Huang with the “Jelly Fish Collective Practice”.

The starting point was the focus on extending the awareness of the body with imagination. We wanted to make it a regular practice, pursue this research further, with the following questions: how do we relate to ourselves and to the world? What are the different possibilities to experience the sensation of connecting to others and the environment? How can different imaginative mindsets change this relation to the world and our experience of touching? How to keep this research a collective smooth and fruitful process?

To start and conduct the research we followed this guideline: guiding, recording, sharing, interpreting.

The outcome of our research was shared by giving an interactive workshop and an exhibition of the process recordings and presentation of the material.
